WHO WE ARE
We are now a team of four. As well as lots of financial services experience, we also have life experience.

WILL MOWATT
Will is founder of the business and has been in financial services all his working life. Will qualified as an actuary with Scottish Widows in 1989 and subsequently joined General Accident Life in York in 1990. Following a spell in France as the actuary in a small subsidiary he was Director of Product Development and Director of Marketing at Norwich Union until leaving in 2008.
Will transitioned to a qualified financial adviser in 2008. He is qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner and has qualifications as a pension transfer specialist as well as long term care planning.
Originally from Wick in Caithness, Will has lived down south (including Edinburgh) for over 35 years. He has been a Husthwaite resident since 1998. Will is married to Sheila and has a son Calum who is based in Edinburgh. Outside of work, Will enjoys sport, especially football and is an occasional cyclist and golfer.
JEREMY JUSTICE
Jeremy joined Mowatt Financial Planning in January 2017 and has over 30 years experience in Financial Services. He has previously held senior management roles at Aviva, where he worked for 20 years having joined Commercial Union initially in 1987; he has held other roles with Scottish Widows and HSBC and has provided financial advice to both individual and corporate clients. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Chartered Financial planner.

Jeremy has lived in Easingwold for over 20 years and is married with 3 children. He has been a coach at Easingwold Town Football Club for the last 8 years and is a local school governor. He also enjoys playing golf and tennis in his spare time.
JOHN BUTCHER
John joined Mowatt Financial Planning as a paraplanner and office manager in 2016. He had previously spent 31 years as a teacher, latterly assistant head teacher of a local comprehensive school, a role in which he was closely involved in financial decisions and responsible for developing and managing the use of data.
Having studied economics at A level, John has a long-standing interest in the financial world and is working towards the CII Certificate in Paraplanning.

In his spare time, John plays guitar in a local band.
BECCA FLOYD
Becca has recently joined Mowatt Financial Planning in April 2020. Becca has 13 years experience in Financial Services. She started as a Customer Services Representative and worked her way up to managerial positions within Aviva. Becca left Aviva in 2015 after having her daughter. She has worked in other industry sectors since but was very keen to get back into Financial Services.

Becca lives in Easingwold she has a daughter in primary school and a step daughter in secondary school. She enjoys spending as much time as possible with them and her partner enjoying family life.
